Life as a 1st Year
First year students are paired with a Big Sib to help them acclimate to graduate school and life in New York City.
Students introduce themselves to each other by presenting Chalk Talks on their research during the first week.
Incoming students participate in a week long Research Adventure, where they learn a new scientific technique in small groups.
